round and round and round

its the warmest day of the year and the weekend will
be spectacular. so along with roller-blading and balcony afternoons and maybe a long bike ride i will be on the lookout for a new knitting spot. i've got a few things 'on the sticks' as they say and i think a nice afternoon in the park or by the waterfront would be the perfect thing to finish up that last leg of a project and kick start my spring/summer knitting.

firstly....... a FO! a very peachy panta. i love this pattern and i love this yarn [its discontinued now. but luckily i stocked up when it went on sale]

current Wips...

finishing off the tam topper for my babycakes. keeping it simple, a couple rows of green and yellow mixed in. i'm going to make this one little larger and try something fancy for the top decreases.
i used a mix of different yarns in a attempt to actually knit with the yarn i own. all acrylic and the yellow is from a recycled sweater.

and i've just started coachella from knitty. oh my goodness oh my goodness. tis the first wearable item and i was a little fearful of taking on the pattern at first ... chaaaa.

both of these are knit in the round and stockinette so of course i've been comparing patterns with yarns in search of my nest project to cast on....
